Hotel Azul Oaxaca

The only negative is that the rooms are a little dark. The lighting is poor. The rooms don’t have open windows. They have blinds that give you some light from the center courtyard but it’s really not enough light.

In addition to being in the beautiful city of Oaxaca, Azul made our stay the most comfortable experience of this trip.

Showers could be a bit bigger.

The hotel's location is the best: right in the heart of the city centre and within walking distance of everything around Oaxaca. The hotel's decoration theme is a mixture of modern and traditional. It's located in a typical Mexican colonial building and is decorated modernly and practically. We got vouchers for a mezcal tasting at the hotel bar at check-in, complimentary, which was well thought of. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and warm. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall we were very happy with the hotel.

The sink area in the room was quite small. The breakfast options were mainly Mexican breakfasts. Also, we struggled to pay the price of the rooms at the end of our stay and could only convince them by debiting until we checked out.

Los cuartos son terriblemente oscuros. El baño se separa del cuarto con una cortina, lo que es muy poco íntimo. Nunca le han dado servicio al aire acondicionado y genera alergias.

Fuimos a Oaxaca en ocasión de una boda. El hotel Azul tiene una ubicación inmejorable y el personal de recepción son grandes anfitriones: ayudaron hasta para conseguir maquillista y peinadora que me atendiera en el hotel. Otra cosa que disfruté mucho del hotel fueron las bicicletas. Muchas gracias
