MTN Lodge Ridgway

The positive note was the room was pretty clean. It had a microwave a refrigerator, coffee pot TV all were working. Walking to our first floor room the carpets were disgustingly, dirty, and stained. ( pictures to follow) when we first got there the room smelled pretty clean, but after staying there a day it smelled musty. The temperature could not be regulated in the room. If you set it to 70 it would come on and blow cold air for a while and then it would go off and get hot so you set it a little bit lower and then it would be freezing cold . The hotel itself is very noisy. The rooms are not insulated you can hear your neighbor flush the toilet the road traffic outside gets very busy. Bathroom ceiling needs repaired. The reading lights connected to the beds did not work. One set did look like a position, but very difficult to turn on and off. The other set on the left side did not work at all. The lighting in the room was very subpar. If you like the room dark, it’s great. For $300 a night I expect more.

This hotel is comfortable, and in a perfect location to show your 'true grit' on the legendary roads in the area. Colorado is known for its beauty, and the view around Ridgway and Ouray might be the best of it. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty good. Ridgway has some cool little spots to check out as well. I'll probably stay here again someday.

Great location. Updated hotel. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was cleaned. The only complaint I have is the floor was dirty with dog hair.

Staying for one night during a long camping trip. Wanted a comfy bed and shower and quiet break from the rigors of camping. Lodge was nice, simple. Good location with great views. Clean shower. Nothing fancy, but nice for what we were needing. Check-in was easy and digital.

It would be nice if the restaurant offered breakfast. That was the only drawback to this hotel.

Nice area . I Sat on king bed side and it broke .. no king to change . queen double had no soap in shower 1 set of towels Staff attitude poor ... talked to Mgr second day and upgraded 2 days later to suite we had 8 people there in 3 rooms and misc problems through out. Carpet in halls had not been cleaned ???

Staff were okay, not great customer service just average. The young man was much more pleasant and friendly than the rest but they were not bad just average. The front desk was odd... and no one was there some of the times we stopped by. Property location seemed quiet but property was dated. There were huge stains in the hallway carpet and the rooms liked like a slight step up from motel six. But the price was good compared to other hotels near telluride so that was good. No breakfast available at all which was disappointing. Overall it was okay... not terrible but not great. Maybe I'd stay there again if I needed a cheap option and I couldn't find anything better in the area.
