The property is an old and run down. I couldn’t understand why it had a rating of over 7. But once there I realized that very few North Americans stay there. So it is more like a 2 by North American standards. Also, the only place to eat nearby is McDonald’s. Next time I go to Suriname I will stay at the Radison or the Marriott. Their location alone makes the difference. Lots of restaurants near them. Wish I had known this before. Oh well.

Séjour agréable. Le personnel très très sympathique que soit à l’accueil ou pour le petit déjeuner. Petit bémol, l’insonorisation reste à revoir. Hôtel dans le centre ville, un plus.
Nous avons dû demander de changer parce que la chambre de luxe que nous avons prise sentez la canalisation et était très humide la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas bien dutout et l'état général de la chambre était en-dessous de moyen La propreté laissait vraiment à désirer
Nous sommes déçues de l'hôtel, ce n'est plus le Spanhoek que nous avons connu. Serviettes tâchées et déchirées idem pour les tapis de sol, beaucoup de moustiques, les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées, nous n'avons pas été informé des gros travaux.
Les personnelles étaient très gentille et respectueuse
Booked for 3 nights and couldn’t stay. Had to stay at another hotel. The room was smelly and unclean.
