Everything in my room was brand new and beautifully detailed. I needed a hair dryer and the one in the room was top notch. I needed an iron and that worked excellent! Bathroom was new and well detailed with a beautiful lighted mirror and good quality all the way. Only one complaint was the keurig, it was almost new but i always run a cup of water first and it came out light brown so i ran a few more cups of just water before using a k-cup. Also...the free breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and delicious food and two fancy coffee machines that grind the beans fresh! Excellent!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mason City, Iowa, has a 4.6/5 rating on Trip Advisor. They have earned that rating and more! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Even though they are open through their renovations, we still had a very comfortable stay! They put us on a newly renovated room in the top floor which helped keep us further from the renovations. The breakfast area was clean and the lady working, Lori, made sure the area was clean, food hot, and refilled everything in a timely manner. I love the pancake maker! We decided to stay an extra 3 days. I ran into an issue and went to the front desk. Jeremiah immediately helped me, giving me numbers they had for my reservations so I could fix it. I tried everything, then went back to Jeremiah and he fixed it so I wouldn't lose my points and the reservation would go through Monday! He is amazing! I've been a member of Holiday rewards since 2003. This kind of service is why I will continue to stay with them and the IHG family. The General Manager, Crystal Shelihart, checked with me to make sure our stay was good and everything was taken care of. She runs a great hotel and is making wonderful renovations to make it better. If you're in Mason City, Iowa, stay at this hotel!

"Clean, friendly, and I'd stay here again!"

Super clean facility. Room was spotless, as were the public areas. And we even got housekeeping on a weekend! Front desk staff were pleasant, efficient, and helpful. Breakfast was good with many choices. I would stay here again with no complaints or hesitation.
