Château de Grasse

An interesting out of the way way place. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms are huge. The bed was comfortable. The lounge was a great place to relax and have a drink. Could have coffee and tea facilities in the rooms or maybe in the lounge area.

Relaxed base for a fleeting visit to family.

Hotel très bien situé, au coeur du village. Très grande chambre, voir trop grande pour une personne seul. Petit déjeuner avec vue sur le village et la vallée, bien sympa pour commencer la journée.

A hotel with historical references, sited in a traditional village. The hotel is clean and well organized. IT is clean, though, that the hotel is owned and driven mostly by one person. That gave the stay a more personal touch. Henry has good knowledge of the hotell history and he is willingly sharing.

The hotel is perched high on a hill in a beautiful location. It is run by Henry, who is very friendly and speaks English well. He has his delightful girlfriend Eva helping him in the Café. We enjoyed our 2 days there very much and would recommend it to everyone.

Wir sind vom Hotel sehr positiv überrascht gewesen. Das Hotel hat zwar keine besetzte Rezeption, man klingelt und es kommt jemand. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht; das Bad war sehr groß. Alles war sauber. Frühstück nicht genutzt (zu teuer).

The stay was for a visit to the south coast. Hotel was lovely and views spectacular. The room was well presented although not huge by any standards. Parking was tight and awkward. The rooms were well presented but laked tea or coffee making facilities, we would always expect this. The couple who run the chateau were very hospitable and recommended the restaurant " The Jarrerie" a 5/10 min walk away, it was fantastic, and we ate there both nights.

Bliver modtaget på parkeringspladsen af ejeren inden vi næsten er stået ud af bilen. Bliver budt velkommen som om vi var familie. Værelset er meget stort og vi har en fantastisk udsigt ud over den lille by og bjergene. Morgenmaden bliver personligt serveret med alt man kan ønske sig. Udsigten fra morgenbordet er stadig fantastisk og betjeningen er meget familiær. En meget dejlig oplevelse på et familieejet hotel.

our stay was very special. Bar--sur-Loup is exquisite and Henri is a most gracious hotelier. The two restaurants he recommended were excellent and he attended to our every need. The room was beautiful fabulous views. Lots of space. I loved it.

Lovely place with equally lovely and welcoming host. Was a wonderful stay and very peaceful too.
