A lovely self contained unit set back from the quiet main road with everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Great shower. Warm bedding which was good after a drop to 6 degrees outside! Good amount of power points to charge phones etc. Well equipped kitchenette. Plenty of car parking and great pub for food across the main road. Blown away by the superb view outside the unit on our departure day.

Large room, was more like a studio apartment than a motel room. Good size kitchen too.

The unit we had was very large with a good size bedroom and lounge. One street away from main road so nice and quiet. Went to the local hotel for our dinner. Food was excellent and meal size was great

Our family group was large so we booked the "lodge" in its entirety (4 bedrooms). There was more than 1 bathroom and toilet, which was wonderful with so many of us. The motel is located away from the main highway (very quiet) but was extremely easy to find. It was a short walk (less than 5 minutes) through a park and children's playground (where the Springfield Donut is) to Springfield Hotel (pub/restaurant), where we had a very nice evening meal. We had concerns initially (about how and where we might eat) because most stores and cafes close 4 - 5 pm, but dinner is available at the Springfield Hotel (we were advised to get there by 7:30 pm to be sure the kitchen wasn't closed). Amber, who runs the motel, was very friendly and went out of her way to assist us. We also highly recommend Rubicon Valley Horse Treks and Alpine Jet (boat) Thrills (both on the same road as each other) and about 15 minutes drive from the motel.
