Discovery Parks - Darwin

This park is a disgrace to the Discovery Parks name. Yes there’s the aeroplane noise that is very loud. Nothing they can do about that. The bins were full to overflowing, the ammenities are barely average and only two of the six washing machines in the laundry were working which is a big issue for a park of this size. We stayed four nights at a crazy per night price and there was clearly no effort being made to fix them. The pools are just average and the general upkeep of the park is well below average. Stay at Oasis Tourist Park instead.

It was easy to find. Nice to have aircon as it was really hot. Bed’s comfy.

The lady that gave us the key to the room was unfriendly. Everyone else was wonderful, helpful and friendly.

Quiet and met all our needs

Outside was dirty - all outside needs scrubbing, screen door wouldn't close or lock, dirty and scuff marks on walls - needs a new paint job inside. Toilet roll holder falling of wall and ice trays in freezer empty.
