"Wonderful People Run and Nice Bed and Breakfast In San Pedro Sula."

8.0

We stayed at La Posada two times enroute to and from Roatan a week apart and they did a fine job. This is a very simple and clean bed and breakfast and they arranged pickup and delivery to the airport with Oscar who is a very nice young man as are Carolina and Alex the owners. You are about 20 minutes away from the airport so depending on your arrival and departure times, thecab fare is pricey by Honduran standards but was worth it to us for the safety. SPS is a big industrial city with a high crime rate so we were not about to take chances here. We fllew over to Roatan but had we taken the bus, the cabfare would have been included I understand. We were cooked a nice Honduran breakfast one of our visits and we felt very much at home. The barbed wire is a bit daunting when you arrive but the kindness inside more than makes up for that. You can walk to the mall 4 blocks away for an outing nearby. I did it today and that was interesting. I found it hard to find one item there made in Honduras. Everything came from China. Oh dear. La POsada is not for the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton crowd.

"La Posada"

10.0

Located just outside of Downtown San Pedro Sula, this lovely, safe and quiet, B & B, is highly recommended. My wife and I stayed there and can easily say, a great stay and very affordable. The owner and staff are very helpful and answer any questions you have about the area or area activities. This appears to be an upper - middle class neighborhood area where everyone is friendly and nice to tourists. The breakfast is coked fresh as you arrive at the table each morning. Transporation to and from the airport is available through the hotel at a reaonable charge. Transfers, to and from the bus staion, are complimentary. We enjoyed the PC in the lobby and the pool/cabana area, out back. Would go back here in a minute!! Area mall is only 4 blocks away and we enjoyed walking in the surrounding area as well. You won't be disappointed.

"La Posada- authentic Honduran experience."

10.0

We didn't get to deal with the man everyone else did. The lady we dealt with wasn't very friendly, but she did a good job with everything. The breakfast was a true Honduran meal so that was great for my kids to experience. This house is in a very safe area of homes of the very well- to- do in San Pedro. It was very clean and a great deal for the money. The American hotels cost way more and this was just as nice as those- we had stayed in the Marriott in Tegucigalpa. I would highly recommend it!

"FROM START TO FINISH"

10.0

We stayed at La Posada at the beginning of our two month trip and returned at the end. The fact that we returned says a lot about how pleased we were with the stay. The location near restaurants and proximity to the bus and airport make it a logical choice. The support you get from the staff makes it the best choice. Alex made everything easy and comfortable--next year we will do it again!

"La Posada B&B"

10.0

We had a good experience at the La Posada Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great and their was a little pool out back to cool off in after a long day. I loved the hammocks near the pool. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.

"2nd time around."

10.0

This is the second time we stayed here and it is a very friendly, clean and safe Bed and breakfast. Our room came with a TV, air conditioning and a hot shower. The bed was a little hard, but the room was comfortable and clean. Coffee and water available all day. The staff and owner are very friendly. There is a shopping centre 4 blocks away which is convenient for food and last minute present buying. There is a taxi service available which is also very good. If and when I go back to san Pedro Sula, I will always stay here.

"good B&B"

8.0

This B&B was nice, clean and we felt safe. All that you need in San Pedro Sula. However no one there speaks English very well, except the owner who was not there, so that was a little tricky. Also I picked this B&B because it offered airport pickup, usually when it is offered it’s free but we had to pay for it, $20, when I complained he did give us a bus station drop off for free. The aircon didn’t really make the room that cold but towels were provided, the beds were comfortable and breakfast was ok. There is wifi but it was locked and no one knew the key so we couldn’t use it. Saying all this I would stay there again when/if I learned to speak Spanish properly.
