The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and even remembered my name, which made me feel truly welcomed. The hotel is located in a beautiful forest setting, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The gardens are well maintained, the rooms are well equipped, and the overall quality of the accommodation is excellent. The availability of EV charging facilities is also a great convenience for guests traveling by car. The only minor issue was that this year's weather was unusually hot, and the air conditioning was not quite powerful enough during the afternoon and evening hours. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again during the autumn or winter season.

I saw on the hotel room television that breakfast service started at 6:30 a.m., so I arrived at the restaurant on time based on the information provided by the hotel. When I entered the restaurant, there were no signs, barriers, or any indication that breakfast service had not yet begun. Naturally, I assumed the restaurant was open. I had already served myself breakfast, and all the food appeared to be fully prepared. However, a staff member informed me that breakfast would not start until 7:00 a.m. and asked me to leave the restaurant. To make sure I had not misunderstood, I even returned to my room to double-check the information. The television clearly stated that breakfast started at 6:30 a.m. What puzzled me most was that I was asked to leave after I had already prepared my meal, which presumably had to be discarded. It was an awkward and embarrassing situation. Although I briefly considered skipping breakfast altogether, I had already paid for it, so I returned at 7:00 a.m. and had breakfast then. To be honest, after staying in more than 500 hotels around the world, this is the first time I have encountered such an uncomfortable and confusing situation. I would suggest improving staff training and ensuring that all information regarding breakfast hours is accurate and consistent. If the restaurant is not yet open, a simple sign at the entrance would be enough to prevent misunderstandings. Most guests would not enter if they were clearly informed. This was an easily avoidable situation, and I hope future guests will not experience the same inconvenience.

Úžasné snídaně, pohodlná postel, krásná koupelna

Měli jsme ubytováni se psem, neměli poznačeno, pokoj nebyl připraven. Čekali jsme na pelíšek a balicek a na přípravu pokoje.

"Pretty average for the price."

We booked a superior room months ago directly with the hotel. We were somewhat disappointed to be given a room on the lower ground floor next to a service room where there were outlets from the bar or kitchen or air-conditioning units, difficult to know which especially as the aircon in the room wasn't actually delivering cold air despite the fan running. The room was too warm at night for the huge duvets on the bed and we couldn't open the window because of the noise from the service room so we slept very badly. We reserved a space in the garage and we were pleased we had as there are limited spaces outside. The breakfast was excellent with food cooked to order and a buffet with a wide selection of quality food on offer. Coffees etc are served at the table. Staff are extremely professional and friendly. The prices in Restaurant Finch are somewhat high. The most expensive we encounter in a week in Germany, €55.00 for 3 courses, €7.80 for 50cl of water, €15.00 for 20cl wine - really! Dressed up as fine dining the food was pretty poor as well. Overall our stay was disappointing.
