"Spacious, good location ... but bugs on ground floor"

First the pros: the hotel looks great inside and out. Our room was open, spacious, and well organized for work and rest. You would have no issue staying here for an extended duration. The breakfast buffet was OK. The self-park garage is below the sister Renaissance hotel and was convenient, except it did completely fill up one night. The cons: the first night we checked in, there was a big dead roach in the elevator. The next morning, there was a dead roach by one of the trash cans in the breakfast seating area. Then at night, around the tables near that same area, a live roach ran along the floor. Front reception was notified. We did not see any more bugs the rest of the stay, nor did we see any one the main floors. Now, this was all on the ground floor and they could easily come in from outside, but three within 24 hrs, and being so close to the breakfast area was off-putting. Other: We stayed here while attending the Marine Corps Marathon weekend. The hotel was full of marathon participants, which I'm sure the hotel was aware of. As such it would have been greatly appreciated if they had set up some light snack bar in the lobby the morning of the race. Other hotels will do this for big events. The breakfast buffet opened at 6 AM race morning but that's still like two hours too late for the runners.

It wasn’t as convenient as some other places we stayed at in Crystal City, but that’s just us.

"Excellent"

The only thing we had issue with was noise from other rooms. We could hear yelling & laughter all night on one of the night. Then for all 4 nights we could hear loud bangs, we are thinking maybe people dropping weights on the floor. (We were couple doors down from fitness center. Other than that it was a great stsy

This property is clean and very well maintained. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and has plenty of walkable restaurants and cafes. Would stay again.
