Bon Ton Resort Langkawi

Excellent hut experience with peace and tranquility,only swimming pool was not clean otherwise a unique experience with lots of cats

The hotel is exceptional. It is a traditional hotel in a unique setting. The food at the restaurant was amazing and our stay was memorable. This is not a typical hotel - it is unique and not for a guest that wants to stay in your typical sterile hotel room. We had an amazing experience at Bon Ton Resort.

Great service from start to finish, made to feel very welcome at this complex of about a dozen or so wooden villas/huts. Our place (which I think was the smallest available) was a good size, with modern fittings not detracting from the old-world charm. The service and quality of food in the restaurant was excellent. The best place we stayed in Malaysia!

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing two nights at Bon Ton. The property is gorgeous, the food is inceedible and the customer service is outstanding. The staff went out of their way to make our stay special. I would recommend Bon Ton to all of my friends and family!

Bon Ton is a beautiful, small and unique resort which more than lived up to our expectations. The accommodation was stunning, the pool area and view of the lagoon very peaceful and relaxing and the food and service were impeccable.

The hotel is very close to the airport so you can sometimes hear the airplanes. You are away from anything and taxi are super expensive over there so good place for a quiet stay but not if you want to enjoy night life or tour around the island...or you'd better have a good budgtet for taxi.The hotel belongs to a chain of two and you can enjoy the pool and the restaurant of both sites which are located next to each other.Do not go if you do not like cats as they are everywhere. Part of the benefits of he hotel go to a centre for cats and dogs located just on the corner of the hotel.The restaurant is ok ok but not that great and overpriced in comparison to other places. The staff is really nice and helpful.

good location,close to the main beach.friendly , helpfull and honest staff. .old buildings, aircon not vey efficient as there was a lot of oppenings .cockroach and lizards walking on ceiling at night. good hot water. good breakfast.

Excellent service in an unusual setting which we treasured

I spent 4 nights in the Laguna villa recently and had a tremendous time. Having done some basic research before booking, I was aware of the 1.5km distance to the beach and the fact that there are numerous cats in the resort which has an attached animal sanctuary. The resort itself has a great chilled out vibe, the staff are extremely pleasant and friendly and willing to help order/book tours/taxis and give recommendations of places to visit on Langkawi. The food was very nice and we had both lunch and dinner in thre resort. The villa was fantastic with a very comfortable and spacious villa with large bed, soaking tub and excellent shower facilities. Although expensive, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Bon Ton resort and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Langkawi. The only negatives were it's proximity to the airport meant some noise from planes landing and it's distance from the beach but we found the resort so comfortable and relaxed that we didn't miss the beach.
