Lake Inn and Restaurant

I enjoyed my stay at the Lake and definitely will be planning for another trip soon.

College visit. A great place, especially for the price. Service was good, food was good/ok (we had Belgian waffles and they were a little too soft but they tasted ok. I just missed the little bit of crunch Belgian waffles usually have). Everything else was great!

Very helpful and kind owners! The newly remodeled rooms were very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend a stay here.

Better pillows and maybe an area rug for the rooms on the top floors the Reno is awesome but with the hard floors the people that are on the top floor is sounds like they are going to come through the ceiling. Overall it was a great stay!

Small rooms but very clean. It was close to the highway so easy to get to but noisy at night. A good plus was the restaurant and bar on the premises.

Very nice room. The restaurant next to the hotel has a great breakfast with fresh cut up fruit

Over charged my room 127 and will not return Nice remodel but they have a long way to go w customer service .....

This Inn has charm and personality! The new owners have done a lot to upgrade/revive the place. The rooms are clean. The staff is excellent. The Restaurant’s breakfast is very good-even the locals eat here! The location is very close to the St Francis University, a body of water across from the Inn that has stocked fish and activity of people playing, reading and enjoying the sites.

Overpriced for area and blinds in room were not adequate. Pillows need to be replaced.

Everything was booked in the Altoona area due to college graduation. I stayed here after attending an Altoona Curve Baseball game. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but I was pleasantly surprised with my room. The hotel bar was a nice place for food and drinks as well. We ended up having a great time and would definitely stay again.
