Hotel Benavides

Very friendly staff and good value. Rooms are clean and comfortable. If you leave early they will make you a breakfast packet and they will store your luggage for you if you are doing a tour like colca canyon. It's about a 15 minute walk to the main plaza.

There is no air conditioning but it's ok because the rooms cool down quickly in the evening. The street outside is quite loud so I recommend bringing ear plugs.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! Staff was super friendly. The building was very nice and located at easy walking distance of some of Arequipa's highlights, with Arequipa well worth visiting. The room was very clean. The breakfast was exceptional and served by super nice ladies. The value for money was great - strongly recommended!

Lovely hotel, very relaxing and the breakfast is really wonderful service. They were very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage before our Colca Canyon trip, too. The staff are all really lovely. We extended our stay because Arequipa has such a peaceful vibe and we were not ready to leave!
