Commodore Hotel Pohang

1층에 돌잔치, 결혼식 뷔페가 있어서 저녁시간에는 시끄럽긴 하지만 전반적으로 방의 수준은 괜찮았습니다.

연말이라 가족끼리 여행을 왔는데요. 방이 너무 추웠습니다. 부모님 모시고 왔는데 죄송할 정도로... 결국 어머님은 춥다고 샤워도 안하고 가셨고 차라리 모텔을 가는게 나을 것 같다고 하시더라고요ㅜ 룸 업그레이드 하면서 추가 비용을 냈는데.. 인터넷으로 파는 가격보다 높게 나와서 또 한 번 속상했네요...ㅋㅋㅋ 봄이나 가을에 오시면 괜찮을 듯 합니다.

방 자체는 깨끗합니다. 하지만 분명 익스피디아에 체크아웃 시간 정오로 되어있는데 11.30에 직원분이 벨을 울려서 11시 체크아웃이라고 빨리 나가라고 하시더라구요. 그럼 체크인당시 11시 체크아웃이라고 말을 해주던가 익스피디아에 그렇게 쓰지를 말던가.. 갑자기 후다닥 나가느라 짐도 제대로 못싸고 옷이랑 속옷도 두고와서 나중에 찾으러 갔습니다. 히터도 제대로 안나와서 너무 춥고. 곧 따듯해지겠지 하며 참다참다 프론트에 전화하려고 하니 호텔룸 전화기는 고장나있고... 방만 깨끗하고 그 외는 중간도 못가는 수준이에요. 요즘 왠만한 모텔보다 체계가 안잡혀 있습니다

산뜻한 느낌의 호텔....편의 시설이 맣이 없지만 .... 1박하기엔 그런대로... 괜찮은 포항에 가면 다시 이용할만한 호텔....역시 최고는 가격이 짱

게스트하우스 도미토리랑 가격이 비슷하니까 혼자 계시고 싶을땐 괜찮을 것 같네요. 칫솔치약도 없고 샴푸, 바디워시 하나로 된 거 밖에 없고 창문은 너무 좁았어요. 욕실에 욕조가 있긴 한데 키가 작은 여성한테도 작았어요... 밖으로 나가면 포스코때문에 야경은 좋았는데 아침에 공장 매연때문에 공기가 별로더라구요.. 개인적으로는 소나무 밭도 좀 정신 없었어요. 와이파이가 잘 안된다고 말씀드렸더니 간이 와이파이? 같은 걸 달아두셔서 그건 좋았네요. If you want to stay alone in a room not like in a dormitory of guest house, I would recommend this hotel because the price is close to it. No amenities(there was only shampoo and body wash in one), small window, small bathtub(even small for a short height woman). It has a nice night view tho you'll need to go outside to the beach to enjoy it. But because of the factories near hotel, the air in the morning is really bad.

I stayed at this hotel while waiting for my apartment in the city to be vacated. I was just looking for a place to stay but it turned out to be in a fairly interesting place. The steel mill has a light show almost every night and a nice beach with plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants has one of the better views. There was a mixture of dining options, I chose a pretty nice Italian place. It should be noted that Pohang is know for its seafood (it is a port) and most restaurants will focus on one kind of a seafood dish or another. It should be noted that I speak pretty good Korean and this place is a bit away from the traditional tourist options. Since it is a bit away from the English-speaking centers I suggest learning some key phrases or going with a translation app. This hotel is about 30 seconds - 1 minute from a bus stop. The buses run to and from the main bus terminal in the city. If you want to get on an early bus to another city this would be a good place to stay. Is is about 20-25 minutes on the 130 line to and from the bus station. The train station is also on this side of the city. When I was there the front desk was staffed by someone with good-enough English to check in and ask simple questions. Overall I would recommend this place if you get a good deal and need somewhere to stay for a night or two. Small continental breakfast was cheap. Eggs, cereal, kimchi soup, bread, and jam. Fairly standard.

Clean for being old hotel

No wifi is an issue. Clean but small. Small town and better hotel than most small town hotels.
