Just stayed a night. It is nice hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel no less than a dozen times, and even though it is very well maintained property, with excellent service, I can’t wait for other options to become available! No matter what time of year it is, the rooms are ALWAYS to warm. The thermostats seem to have little, if any bearing, on what the room temperature actual is. I have complained during every single visit and the manager has put in my notes that the room is to be adjusted to 20C before my arrival. No dice. The rooms are always 22C+, which I personally find very uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than this seeming small, but insurmountable problem, the hotel is very nice and the staff is great. I just can’t stand to stay at a place where I can’t get a good night’s rest.

Entrance to the parking area of the hotel is not the best. It is cramped but then we weren't driving! It seems to be designed more for the drop 'n go with minimal parking. The reason why I am mentioning this is because of the collective reaction on entering. Impressions begin outside and will carry through into the hotel. Staff at reception was good. Rooms were neat and tidy. Didn't particularly enjoy the shower bath combo. The shower door doesn't close completely thus allowing an icy cold breeze to come through. We booked smoking rooms and the one major gripe I had with all the hotels we stayed in was the locked windows. Why? Besides smoking all hotels have 'discovered' a way to save money by controlling how their aircon / heating units work and how much of control you have. The room will get stuffy and dry with the heater running all the time. Breakfast was boring. Now another pet gripe of mine at 'International' hotels... Please have at least one competent English speaking individual. This becomes increasingly frustrating as the days, travelling and traffic takes its toll on you. I only wanted an egg fried in a vegetarian pan. I lost 5 kg waiting for comprehension. Some food stations were moved around. You try to find bread or whatever....grrr... consistency is all I ask for.

An excellent hotel for the value. I booked an executive suite (19th floor) and was very pleased with size of room, furnishings and fictures. Service was excellent, Managers at the front desk 24 hours, fluent in English, always ready to assist. Same for concierge. My only complaint was the window exteriors which are very dirty and obviously have never been cleaned since the hotel opened. Dirty enough that I could not take photos of the vista available from the tall windows in the room. Other than that one complaint, the place is new, clean and a great place to stay. Food was excellent oo in the Momo Cafe.
