Vista panoramica fantastica sul mare e su Positano fino ai Faraglioni di Capri, fantastica posizione, ottima accoglienza e cordialità dei titolari e personale. Camera e bagno molto ampi. Pavimento in ceramica maiolica tocco di classe. Arredi molto curati ed eleganti. Pulizia impeccabile. Balcone della camera FANTASMAGORICO. BELLISSIMA TERRAZZA per colazione e ristorante con vista panoramica. Solarium DA PROVARE ASSOLUTAMENTE in prossimo soggiorno.

We absolutely loved our view from our terrace overlooking the Mediterranean with Positano in the distance (room 107). The hotel has a lovely restaurant and serves breakfast on the terrace. It's so nice sitting here late afternoon as the sky changes colour and the lights in the distance twinkle. Loved that the entry is at street level, so no stairs, and the bus stop is 3 mins away. Also the stairs to get to the Path of the Gods hike is across the road (which we did - be prepared for a lot of stairs!) We had busy days and it was so lovely to come back to this hotel to relax and just take in the view with a drink or two.

There was no tea/coffee making facility in the rooms. We paid €6 for a cup of tea (hot water/tea bag/cup) to take to our room.

Hotel Smeraldo is located in a charming spot at the very end of the village of Praiano. The setting itself is quite cute, although the view is partially obstructed by several nearby houses that sit closer to the coastline than the hotel.

The hotel entrance feels like the family’s main living and common area. While this could be charming in a warm and welcoming environment, unfortunately the atmosphere did not feel hospitable during our stay. We only stayed one night, but experienced several instances of a lack of professionalism and willingness to assist, which was surprising. Overall, it felt as though guests were not particularly welcome. Breakfast was limited and not very enjoyable, with few options available. The rooms also had a noticeable damp smell. I would not recommend staying here. For the price point, there are several other options in the area that offer a significantly better experience.

Costoso. Per 2 semplici pizze,2 coca cole, 1 dolce + parcheggio per 1 giorno( senza tassa soggiorno) ho speso poco piu di 90,00 euro....credo sia troppo.

My husband and I spent a week at Hotel Smeraldo. Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived until the morning we left :). Everyone was so friendly and the food was always delicious! Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There were spectacular views from our room as well as from the dining area. They also had a charming outdoor terrace. We took the stairs directly across from the hotel to The Path of Gods. There are a TON of stairs but definitely worth the climb. We definitely loved our stay at Hotel Smeraldo in Praiano ❤️
