"A stunning hotel"

We enjoyed an exceptional experience at Hitel Smeraldo! The views over the Amalfi coastline toward Positano are beautiful beyond belief. The view from the breakfast terrace is amazing as are the views from the rooms. Our room had a private terrace with a bath that we could have enjoyed for hours if there weren’t so many other highlights to explore. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They were only too happy to call taxis for us. The reception also has a small area with beautiful fashion from a local designer that my wife and daughters loved. We genuinely hope to stay again!

The hotel is on the main road with no place for Taxis to park so you have to be quick getting in and out - especially with luggage. Praiano doesn’t really have a town centre so while there is a nearby supermarket you need to travel to the towns of Positano or Amalfi if you want to spend time shopping.

Beautiful view, gorgeous room. Family was very nice and accommodating. Food (especially pizza) was outstanding. Restaurant manager was informative about the area and giving suggestions.

Bar and restaurant prices overpriced, however you pay for convenience.

"Nice stay in Praiano"

The location is perfect if you intend to visit Positano. I felt it was easier to get to Positano (take a bus which stops a few metres away) than it was to Praiano’s main beach area (would’ve required more walking along the main road for a bit). The breakfast had nice variety, and the views from the breakfast balcony and our room were incredible.

Our room could’ve been cleaner. Unfortunately on our arrival, we noticed a few things in our room - strands of hair in the bathroom, on the bed sheet, and even a potato chip on the floor. With some attention to cleaning, this would not happen.
