Breakfast is great, the omakase dinner is excellent, too. The facilities (and area) is dated but the rooms are spacious and amenities (free snacks, ramen, scones, tea, wine, ice cream) are great. Plus it’s in a remote area that is serene.

The staff were wonderful and exceptionally helpful. The food was really good and diverse. We really enjoyed the private onsens.

Parts of the building are showing some wear and tear of a harsh mountain environment.
