If you're looking for a place to hold a wedding or a bigger event, search no more! This place is excellent for this and it's quite obvious that this is their speciality. They have the organisation for it and they really have the place for it. The hotel is situated at one of the very best spots, overlooking the beautiful lake Iseo. Their buildings and areas on the mountaintop facing the lake are truly special. But if you're looking for a hotel, think again... If you don't book a room with a lake view, you'll be better of booking somewhere else. We had a very outdated room facing the garden. We couldn't use the wardrobes as they smelled too much mold, even with the added perfume. We had two lamps that didn't work and the drain in the basin didn't work either. The areas with the lake and mountain views were closed all the time except for breakfast due to events. The rest of the property have no view of the lake or mountains at all. The hotel has a pool and a jacuzzi, but as none of them are heated or even cleaned, they're of no use. They're also squeezed in behind the hotel, in a dark area together with the ventilation outlets. They also had some tables back there with dirty plates that didn't get cleaned during our stay. Our impression was that all their focus and time were on the events. We understand their priority but it makes the hotel become just a necessity for offering event guest sleeping accommodations.

Lovely, old world luxurious place but guests should beware that it's a treacherous drive up many switchbacks to get there. Also, half the hotel is dedicated to being an event (manly wedding) venue. So both nights we were there, we heard the party and couldn't dine with the lake view. It's a little disappointing to drive all the way up there and not be able to see the lake if your room doesn't have a lake view.

it was by far much better that we expected...the staff is extremely friendly, the premises are gorgeous, the pool safe us from the extremely hot weather, dinner was great. The only disappointment was breakfast, it was very mediocre, and that was a surprise considering that everything else is fabulous.

Notevole posizione e alloggiamento. Ottima ristrutturazione e architettura da giardino. Bellissima colazione ma cena,forse perché concomitante matrimonio, non all’altezza. Cmq bellissimo.
