ibis Styles Broken Hill

An oasis on a loooong drive from one side of the country to the other! Property has everything you need, pool to cool off and a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Lovely staff, nice coffee and great food.

The room was really small, that wld be my only complaint.

Great location in the middle of town. Good air conditioning and Foxtel a bonus. Parking good when it was available. Free breakfast was a bonus.

Very small rooms. Not your typical Accor Hotel by any stretch of the imagination.

Room was large enough it could have had a small kitchenette with microwave.

The room was spotless, the evening meal was amazing. The breakfast, bacon n poached eggs well. Hard eggs served were hard, not all runny, on the crust of the loaf. I would have not served it like that at all. Poached eggs should always be runny and the crust of the loaf should never be served toasted

Single ply toilet roll is definitely a no no partucarly in a as quoted a 4* hotel.

Very clean, comfortable and walking distance to everything in the main street. I was hoping to use the swimming pool but unusually it was quite cold in Broken Hill on the days I was there. The best part about it is the restaurant, which is good quality and very handy if you arrive on the train at 7:30 pm when pretty much everything else is closed. Staff are friendly and helpful.

It is basically a refurbished motel – which is fine, just not what I was expecting. So the room is the same size as a motel room and the bathroom is very small. However I would happily stay again.
