Bogong Moth Motel

We arrived at the end of a long drive in bad weather, and it was lovely to curl up in a cosy motel room with a cup of tea ( fresh milk waiting for us in the fridge). The room was comfortable and well-equipped, or hosts were welcoming and helpful, and we slept very well, enjoying the quiet surroundings. Would definitely recommend this motel!

A pleasant experience visiting relatives and seeing the changes to the area where we use to live. The valley is still one of the prettiest .

the surrounding view is amazing, the couple who run the place are friendly and helpful. Nice cosy room and very clean. Nothing to complain about at all. Lots of cooking facilities if required.

This motel is great for a pleasant break in the mountains. Only a small establishment, but pleasantly furnished and comfortable. The owners are very helpful and friendly.

Great spot to escape to. Away from the hustle & bustle of the bigger towns. Easy to relax and take day trips to Bright, Falls Creek etc. The staff of the motel were very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area and suggested places to go and see.

Friendly, obliging staff. Great view of Mount Bogong. Free Wi-Fi didn't reach to our room, though, which was the furthest from the Office. Excellent, affordable dining at Flour and Water, across the road.

I have stayed at this motel on two occasions as I needed a base for cycling training. The motel is conveniently located close to Falls Creek and Tawonga Gap-Hotham or Buffalo. They allow late check in which is convenient if you start your journey from Melbourne after work on a Friday. The rooms are clean and provide all you need for a weekend stay.

Warm and friendly greeting. The bed was very comfortable and contributed to a restful sleep The location is very central to mount beauty with out the traffic noise, a lovely rural outlook greeted us in the morning. Ellie was very welcoming and no request was any trouble. Will definitely recommend the bogong moth motel to family and friends

We used the Bogong Moth Motel as our base as we explored the surrounding area over 4 days. It was comfortable and perfect for what we needed. It was nice to drive in at the end of a long day and know that our things were secure and the room cleaned. The owners were lovely and there to answer any questions when needed.
