Temple Tree Resort

Very charming setting with a wild range of authentic buildings. The pool is beautiful although very warm. Food was very good and Western friendly. The restaurant comes with a stylish bar. The location is convenient for the airport, but doesn’t facilitate direct access to the sea.

Our room/ apt had aircon but the windows are basically open shutters, so it was difficult to cool down.

Each of the accommodation buildings had its charm and truly unique and special to be able to stay in such historical houses. It felt like being back in time.

The afternoon BGM at the restaurant and pool was too much like beach clubs for liking and personally felt that it doesn't suit the beauty of the old charming buildings. Relaxing and calm music such as jazz and classical or retro music, (the type of music playing during breakfast) would add to the experience.

Quiet. Beautiful environment. Great food. Friendly staff. Very nice accommodations.

On the other side of the globe from where I live. Still, I hope to return someday.

Rooms were beautiful as was the pool area. The food was also exceptional

The only criticism I have is that (apart from the lovely breakfast) I didn’t think the restaurant food was very good.

Lovely, historic hotel. All the rooms are in different old buildings, which makes them both interesting and individual. The pool is lovely. The staff were really friendly. We are in the hotel one night and the food was great. Location wise it’s really easy to get grab taxis into the town or the beach. The hotel helped us book 3 trips - island hopping and a mangrove tour. Both were good fun but if you only do 1 trip, then make it the mangrove tour.

Nothing! It is close to the airport and you can hear planes but there really aren’t that many of them and it didn’t bother us at all. The buildings are historic so you don’t get sound proofing but it really wasn’t that noisy (occasional traffic) and that would depend which room you go for. We had a fabulous time here & would recommend it.

This boutique hotel was absolutely divine. Extremely tranquil and felt in the heart of nature. We saw lots of wild animals in the trees and of course were surrounded by all the lovely cats and kittens! The buildings were gorgeous and it was great learning about them during our tour of the property. The little leaflet was a lovely touch too. The food was incredible and all the option of soft drinks was great. The staff were so so attentive and lovely. We hired a scooter from here which was also seamless and was given very good reccomendation of things to do in the area.

Nothing really! Our accommodation was plantation and there weren’t proper physical windows - just shutters and curtains so we had mosquito nets for our beds. But this is expected for Asia anyway and we had mozzie spray!
