Sweetome Aparthotel

One of the top 5 places I stayed at worldwide, just what I need for a stay over a night before a meeting in Lille, 2 minutes from the train station, very convenient with the passcode to get in when you want and perfect room with large bathroom. VERY CONVENIENT.

The room was comfortable and nice furnished located in a comercial area closed to a metro station, but in a really dirty street always with weird people in the surroundings. The hotel doesn't have a reception and the only way to get in contact with the person in charge of the administration is a mobile phone. Most of the times you get an automatic answer and if someone peaks up the phone, the person hardly speaks english. Same with the contact email. I got the codes necessaries to get in just two days in advance after several calls and emails without answer and the same to get the invoice or the wifi fixed. I was in a business trip of 3 weeks and if this is the service offered to a person that is going to spend such a long time in the hotel I wonder how it would be just for a couple days stay...

great apartment, bit off of the best areas but nothing is far.

+ Very modern flat with kitchenette, modern shower, right in the center of Lille, with free coffee machine provided. - There are several things which do let this property down: No lift and my flat was on the last floor (4th floor) with steep stairs. Not very enjoyable with heavy suitcases and no one to help as there is no reception. Code to enter the room each time with small keys and fairly long number to remember. Flat windows with direct view on neighbours kitchen and living room. There are curtains but then there is no natural light. Stairs are very noisy and you can hear everyone going up or down. It really feels like people are in the flat, poor soundproofing. Although the flat is right in the center (very handy), it is next to a fairly dodgy area at night. I had a few people in a band begging for money. Also a few drunkards around. I didn't feel threatened but it is not a great experience to say the least.

The apartment was lovely,comfortable, modern. In the morning I popped out for breakfast and when I returned the apt. was being serviced with my stuff still there and I was not ready to leave which was a major disappointment. I forgot an item as the place was in turmoil. Also the noise from the cleaners was unbearable, not a problem if you are awake incredibly early. The neighbourhood is edgy, fine but be aware going in and leaving the apt. Personally I wouldn't stay again.

Totalement conforme à l'annonce. L'hotel est isolé, il donne sur une cours intérieure. Très satisfait.

Il y a eu un probleme avec la chambre, ce qui m'a permis de constater le professionalisme d'angelique et son sens du client. Je recommande sans hesiter !!
