Amertha Bali Villas Beach Front Resort and Spa

Everyone at Amertha Bali Resorts was extremely nice and helpful if you needed anything. The rooms and facilities were very clean. Only critcism is that the room I booked was quite basic - only provides Shampoo/Cond/Body Wash - no other amenities or products. Also, even with the mosquito netting over the bed, I still got mosquito bites. Otherwise location on the beach, food, service were all amazing. This is a great place to stay to truly relax with no noise or distractions.

In case you are wondering, 'cos you cannot tell from the photo's, this place "is" right on the beach. The villas have a lot of garden space between them (the owners decided not to pack in as many villas onto a plot of land as possible - a common finding) and there is a beautiful stretch of grass that leads to the soft sandy beach. The food is very good but incredibly expensive by Bali standards. Meals were costing me about the same as I pay in Singapore; that said, the quality of the F&B was very high. If you seek tranquility and fancy some diving (Reef Scene - excellent dive shop is right next door) then this is recommended. Pemuteran is 4-5 hour drive from the airport and it will take you 2 hours to get from the plan through customs as Bali is openly corrupt; seeking to create queue's in the airport which officials will then take US$100 fees for taking you to the front. Build this 7 hours or 5 hours + US$100 into your travel planning.

We absolutely loved the Amertha Villas. We stayed there for 4 nights as part of our Honeymoon. The grounds, staff, our villa, and the location were incredible. The drive from Denpasar to Permutaran is 4 hours but well worth it once you arrive. It was a highlight of our honeymoon. We would like to return someday for another stay at Amertha

it is a great place to stay. beautiful villas and suites in a nice garden. directly on the beach with comfy beds in the shadow on the beach. nice and quiet at the beach and when you have a room away from the street. we changed rooms because we could not sleep from the noise from the mosquee and the traffic on the street. when we got another room closer to the beach it was okay and we have had a beautifull and peacefull time. the snorkeling here is absolute fabulous and right in from of your door.

This gorgeous hotel set in a beautiful area. Great staff and a lovely room.

Amertha was beautiful we had our own private villa and pool very reasonably priced. There is not much to to in Permutaran but if you just want to relax I would highly recommend this place

Our experience at this was phenomenal. The service was fantastic with a great restaurant and the house staff were all friendly. The grounds were in impeccable condition and relaxing by the sea was brilliant.

I absolutely loved my stay at Amertha Villas. It was off season, so we had the pool to ourselves.The staff are lovely. The room was gorgeous with a very high thatched roof. The semi outdoor bathroom was a treat, as was breakfast on the beach every morning. Plus a couple of warungs just outside the gate.Unfortunately, we only had time for 2 nights, but we coul've stayed for a couple of weeks. So quiet & peaceful - absolute heaven!.

Beautifully designed villas on a quiet stretch of beach with the mountains behind - really spectacular setting. The grounds are immaculate with an amazing feeling of space. Each house has its own pool so you get great sense of privacy. It was amazingly good value - the food delicious and I could hardly fault it. Highly recommend. Also whilst there are prettier beaches the surrounding area is really beautiful and unspoilt and loads of potential for exploring.

Superb excellent service from first arrival through the entire 7 day stay. Great location on the beach with the mountains in the background. Awesome private swimming pool at our villa. The on site spa is very relaxing and tranquil. The restaurant is top notch both in terms of service and quality of food. In fact, people from other resorts along the beach (including ones which cost more) ate at our restaurant and asked us about Amertha and wished they had of booked there! I will definitely be back to stay. If you are looking for peace, beauty, great hospitality and relaxation, with plenty of options for off site activities which are all arranged at reception, I can't recommend Amertha enough.
