"Will come back to beautiful Carrapateira but staying elsewhere"

Location is very good, surrounded by beautiful hills. Pool is also nice.

Not very good value for money. The place needs some updates (old stuff that needs to be replaced). We also booked a room with a kitchen but the kitchen was actually outside the room. Not a big deal but it got worse when we noticed that it didn’t have basic stuff like a microwave. We asked the staff if there was any available so we could heat some food for our kids and the answer was that “it was not very usual for guests to have access to the microwave” and “that food will not be good in a microwave” (although it was specifically to be heated in a microwave and we didn’t ask for any “chef” recommendations). Staff is polite but not as friendly as we were expecting, specially the front office lady (Lara or Laura, don’t quite remember).

"Wonderful, relaxing stay at Casa Fajara"

What gem of a property to stay in and relax. Tiago and Sol were wonderful hosts, easy to talk to, and offer recommendations of local areas to visit. Close to numerous surf spots and the small town of Carrapateira. We would love to come back again!

old and sad building, reachable after traveling 700 meters of dusty road. breakfast at 9. Absolutely disproportionate cost compared to the quality.

Beautiful property, pool, sauna, cows in the distance. Short walk to town. Good breakfast.

Very noisy bathroom door, breakfast started late at 9:00, we’d have preferred earlier.
