Everything was organised. Communication was excellent

Location close to the airport, secured, in a quiet place. The host is responsive even at late hours and willing to help with any information.

We booked Room 1 for 2 nights. Our only expectation was simple: a clean room where we could rest after a long day. We didn't ask for anything beyond a comfortable bed and a tidy space. We arrived at 11 PM. The first impression was acceptable — the room looked old, but we had no high expectations. However, there were immediate issues worth noting: the pillows were nearly flat, forcing you to sleep with your arm under your head; the mattress was too soft and the bed creaked with every movement; one of the towels had a hole in it; there is no fridge in the room; and during the night's storm, despite all windows being closed, wind could clearly be heard coming through the room. The most important issue, however, was cleanliness — or the lack of it. The room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival, nor during our stay. Only the sheets and towels were replaced. Beyond that, we found a spider of the kind that appears in long-neglected spaces right next to our bed, stains on the toilet, a leaf on the bathroom floor, and dust in several areas. The following morning, there were ants walking across the floor. We contacted the host and expressed our disappointment, explaining that our only expectation had been a clean place to sleep. They apologized and offered to clean the room the next day or refund us for the last night so we could find alternative accommodation. We chose to stay, as finding last-minute accommodation while spending the day in Milan was not realistic. However, when we returned that second evening, nothing had truly changed: the spider was still in the same spot, the floor in both the room and bathroom remained uncleaned, and the dust was untouched. Only the sheets and towels had been swapped again. This is the first time something like this has happened to us, and I wish I could call it an isolated incident — but I don't believe it is. I clearly pointed out every issue after the first night, and the host failed to address them.
