Giannoulaki Hotel

The hotel is bit of a distance from town, but he bus stops right in front of the hotel. We rented a car, so that was not an issue. The staff is super nice and helpful, and right next to the hotel there are several small restaurants that are not very touristy and the food was amazing.

Book this only if you want to avoid the crowds. It is about 1 mile from the beach and 3+ miles from the port/little venice where all the action is. It is pricey and still does not provide free wifi, which is very disappointing.

Not in Mykonos Centre as advertised so taxis to/from centre necessary - and not cheap. Breakfast of a very poor standard- limited choice of FRESH non- processed food available. Only sliced toast bread and dried rusks on offer ( I hate toast bread)- for a 4 star hotel I'd expect at least fresh bread. Only packaged jam available and NO HONEY on a Greek island 4 star hotel is unheard of. The only fresh fruit available was oranges but fruit salad out of a tin was served - not what a 4 star hotel should have been serving. Also only black tea offered - no variety here. Bathroom really small and basic - not 4 star quality.

The hotel is located about half way between Mikonos town and the beach. It's quiet with a beautiful swimming pool and bar playing good chill out music. They mix a good cocktail. The staff are great, really friendly. The restaurant is excellent, the food is 5 star. It's a lovely hotel with big rooms and very very clean. There are a few cute little kittens in the gardens to give it that magic touch!

The positives are newly redone, nicely decorated rooms, good views of the town and sea. Not to far from town. The negatives are very hard beds, not mattress cover just a sheet, towels are old, hard and coming aprt, customer service is lacking, no one is ever at the front desk you must go upstaires to the bar for help. Must take the bus or taxi to town. breakfast is OK but a bit limited.
