"A gem in the country"

Location... checking in smooth staff top rate ,very clean and well kept .bar good selection of beer and spirits every one friendly. Comfortable bed room very clean great veiw . And had there continental stye breakfast which was lovely no skimping on products all fresh. 10 ...10 hidden gem of an traditional British pub .

"Good overnight stay."

Very comfortable large bed.nice views of fields and sheep. Continental buffet breakfast. Excellent evening meal of tagliatelle bolognese and chicken curry. The manager was very welcoming and friendly. Very good service altogether. Very convenient stop on our way to Shepton Mallet. Lots of parking.

Friendly and professional staff, good value, comfy bed, well equipped rooms, character.

A bit too close to the main road- it could get a bit noisy in the early hours from the passing cars.

"Extremely warm in the loft room with no phone signal"

No phone signal due to the building. Extremely warm in the loft room which really would be a problem in the summer
