could put the window up very far and the exit sign was very bright an night time

Nice rooms, bar, restaurant and beer gardens were all lovely

Our room (8) suffered a bit from noise transfer of people walking in bar directly above but stopped once bar closed and didn’t spoil the stay

We spent the night at the bank and were very satisfied with the location (a minutes walk from the harbour) and the room was excellent, comfy bed and clean all over, and the shower was good too. Breakfast was superb and staff were very attentive. We had dinner in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was a bit warm in the room during the night but our fault we should have opened a window before we fell asleep

The room was noisy with main road out the front, double glazed windows would help

Parking was limited but it would be difficult to improve due to the narrow streets in Anstruther. Free parking available reasonably close by so no big deal.

The location is great. There are sea view rooms if you want. They have a large beer garden. Breakfast is very good, looks of choice and fresh produce.

There are two rooms which, unfortunately, we’ve been allocated on visits which are located in an old shop premises so have a very large window right onto the street. The window is of course shuttered off but it is still far too close to the outside pavement. The second room is in the basement below this with extremely low ceiling and poor sound proofing to the room above. Rooms 27 A and B are to be avoided.

Clean comfy and spacious rooms, great staff, I'd visit again

It didn't bother me or my son but some may find the noise from the pub annoying
