"Disappointed"

The service was good. Food was good, with staff coping well with my wife's food allergies. However the accommodation is highly unsuitable for anyone with even slightly limited mobility. The narrow staircase, the cramped room, the changing levels in the en suite, the uneven floor, the low ceilings made for an uncomfortable experience, such that we did not stay for the second night we had booked (but were still charged). The full view of the toilet available to any passing hikers is also disconcerting.

Very polite and friendly staff and a lovely area to drive through. Double bed was two singles pushed together which wasn’t the most comfortable ! Our main issue was with the breakfast, honestly awful. Would have preferred not to have eaten.

From the welcome to the room and the breakfast. Everything was exceptional. Very impressed with the quality comfort and cleanliness of our room. The bed, the linen and the pillows. Extremely comfortable and a high standard. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend. Hard to find, but well worth persevering!! Thank you

"lovely pub with nice food"

lovely place to stay with nice rooms. no phone signal . Breakfast does not start until 8.30 which was a bot late for a business trip. they did offer to make a baguette the night before.

"Would go back in a heartbeat!"

This was an absolute gem! Beautiful rooms, fabulously delicious food, best gins & beer. The thatched pub was so quaint & it really was delightful. The service was second to none with really friendly staff. Our only regret? We only booked for one night 😔.
