Attractive property tucked away in the country. Very helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable rooms with a good sized bathroom and good shower. Excellent breakfast. Made very welcome in the bar. Lovely garden (although raining when we were there) Convenient situation to the family we were visiting.

All staff are welcoming and friendly. Our room was separated from the main pub (converted from a barn). Very quiet and spacious. The bathtub is really nice and big. We would happily stay there again when we visit the area.

The Brace of Pheasants is everything you could want from a country pub with rooms. The pub itself is a lovely thatched roofed building in the middle of beautiful countryside. The room I had in the annex next to the pub garden was large, very well decorated and had the largest bath i’ve ever seen - it had a small set of steps to help you get in and out!!! Food was good and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Make sure you take one of the walks to the hills above the pub - wonderful views.

Lovely place. We stayed in the Annex so it was almost perfectly quiet overnight, which is the most important thing when i stay anywhere. Adequate locally sourced brekki in the morning. Only issue was the tv was the smallest tv i had ever seen (well almost missed lol). As a whole, we loved our stay, thw staff were great. Id definitely stay here again for the same price.
