Steps Farmhouse

One night stay. Difficult times with the Coronavirus but pleased to say that the owners were taking all the steps necessary to ensure a safe stay. Had a good breakfast served early to my room. Nice comfy bed etc, happy to recommend.

Good location; quality amenities and owner's helpfulness. First choice if visiting this area again.

Great place - just off the A39 to Minehead and very quiet. Large room, very efficient heating. Very comfortable bed and loads of extras - toiletries, room heater, fridge, real milk etc. More than you would normally receive in a B&B. Internet & TV good reception. Plenty of wardrobe space, pleasant view on to a gravelled & secluded courtyard. Breakfast across the courtyard in large dining room. A wide variety of items for breakfast. Full English breakfast cooked to order or whatever you wished. For me not swimming in fats & oils but 'dry'. Good proportions. A pleasant room. All in all a delightful but far too short a stay! Hosts very pleasant & helpful. Knew who you were & admin spot on. For the price an absolute give away. Thoroughly recommended.

The owners were so helpfully from the instant we arrived which made us feel very welcome. We were advised that there had been an electrical issue before we arrived and when we found that our WiFi connection was not working this was sort within 5 minutes similarly our request for wine glasses for the room was sorted straight away and when the owners became aware that, because of the reason we were there (an archery competition at Dunster Castle) we were pushed for time to have breakfast because of the start time of the event we were instantly offered an earlier slot! This made a huge difference to stay as we were setup with an excellent breakfast for the day. As we had the dog with us it was lovely to find that there was a beautiful secluded garden where we could relax outside of the room. As frequent travellers, due archery, we found Steps to be spot on for our needs!

Warm welcome and very friendly hosts. Very accommodating about a request for an earlier breakfast which was delicious. Nice being able to sit out on the decking or in the garden.

We were made very welcome and our room was very good and comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. A good location too for that part of Somerset.

It was a nice stay. The room was above a pub/restaurant area so it was loud until about 11:30 which was fine with me since I’m up late usually but be aware of that. The WiFi didn’t work in the room which was frustrating because I had to do some work so I had to go in the pub/restaurant area. Overall the experience was good though and the room was nice.

The owners were so welcoming and were very flexible and accommodating I would stay there again

Comfortable overnight stay, Quiet room detached from main house. Unfortunately there are no close food stores or restaurants for dinner.
