Location..lovely friendly staff

We had a very spacious room that was clean. Was able to come and go as we pleased. All staff were really friendly.

Will need updating soon, some furniture is a bit old and bathroom needs refreshing, but wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

Bed a bit hard

It was a beautiful location, completely surrounded by hills and green, so we absolutely loved it. It was really handy having the pub right next door, as after a long day exploring Haworth we didn’t want to travel far for food. The food was amazing, and the service from the staff was fantastic. Our room was sweet and cosy, and had great views.

There’s nothing I can think of that we didn’t like! It was easy enough to check in, our room was lovely, the added bonus of the pub and easy check out.

Absolutely loved this place, highly recommended, everything was perfect for us. Beautiful room warm welcome and lovely breakfast.

If I was being really picky, no one on reception so we had to walk to the pub for our check in, but that was a minor ...oh and the TV a little small

The room was nice and clean, and the bed was huge and extremely comfortable, which made it very pleasant to rest.

I should unfortunately mention that the Wi-Fi didn’t work during my stay. For visitors coming from outside the UK, having reliable internet can be quite important, so it would make a big difference if this could be resolved. It may also be helpful for future guests to know that the accommodation is a bit far from Haworth. Public transport is possible but not very convenient, as it requires about a 30-minute walk to the bus stop and the bus only runs once an hour, so many visitors may prefer to take a taxi.

Nothing we didnt like. Lots of tea coffee facilites plus confectionary in the lounge with honesty box. Brilliant

Lovely little hotel situated on the moors near to Howarth and Halifax. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable especially the bed and pillows. Breakfast is next door in the Dog and Gun pub, limited but nice and tasty. There is a pool which is an added bonus although we did find the pool water and room a little cold. The sauna wasn't working so couldn't get a little warmth. But despite this I would recommend a stay.

Would have preferred hotel staff or reception on arrival or check out. Staff at the Dog and Gun appear to be responsible for checking in and out of a weekend.
