Probably one of the most friendly places I've ever stayed.
The bedroom was quite spacious but looked a bit tired. The shower was very disappointing and not clean. There was black mold at the bottom of the shower doors. The shower itself was hanging off the hook so there were no adjustment positions to have a decent shower. Also, we did not have a decent night's sleep as the people in room 7 above our room 5 kept us awake This was because of the noisy floorboards. We were awake up to 2.45 am and then again at 5.45 am when they were apparently walking up and down the room. The food lived up to its reviews and was very nice.

A great pub, run by a top guvnor. We had a superb room for the night and the breakfast was first class. Great beer and a very friendly feel.
