Castle Inn

The Castle Inn is a very welcoming, well run, cosy, clean and happy place to stay 😊 We will be returning v.soon. Breakfast was of a high standard and delicious, as was our evening meal 5 stars !! Loved the extra attention to detail with service at all times. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. You are made to feel valued as a customer, which is rare these days. The bar has a wonderful atmosphere too, a real fire, friendly locals, warm and comfortable. Thank you 😊

Lush breakfast! The staff were so welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our short visit. Would highly recommend the accommodation at this lovely pub for a short stay in Newport. We were travelling there for a wedding the next day, and it was the perfect place to stay.

Only thing was the live band playing (it was a Saturday night!) a lovely thing usually, but I wanted to have an early night before the wedding the next day. Overall it wasn’t a big issue as they stopped playing about 11pm - and really I should have researched this in advance!

The room was fabulous, plenty of space, bed was very comfy. Breakfast was delish. Staff were brilliant, the owner was very welcoming and more than helpful, and the bar staff were excellent as well. Really good location right in the town, and a short walk to the parrot and Newport beach. Short drive into Cardigan or Fishguard. Great.

Nothing to complain about at all

All of the staff were excellent and very personable/friendly and helpful. Food from breakfast to evening meals very good choice and quality. The pub atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Although we did not have a dog, the premises is very dog friendly. Parking on site was also very convenient.

The only small point was the road noise since our room faced the street outside.

This is a friendly, cosy inn. The staff were welcoming; the food was very good; and the room in which we stayed was excellent.
