Duinzicht

Rustig hotel op een prachtige plek. Ontbijt is hoed. Bedden zijn niet geweldig en kamers zijn wat verouderd.

We zaten in één van de kamers achter het hotel, vlakbij de voormalige vuurtoren van het eiland. Was goed voor elkaar. Lekker bed én bad. We hadden goed ontbijt, alles verkrijgbaar, en lekkere koffie. Het eiland hebben we per fiets bekeken. Mooie omgeving.

Wir sind alt, aber seit -zig Jahren Schiermonnikoog-Fans und verbrachten eine herrliche Woche in diesem ruhigen Hotel, in dem wir bestens und sehr freundlich versorgt wurden. Wir haben es schon weiter empfohlen. Es regnete viel, aber da waren wir dann im ruhigen, warmen Zimmer sehr gut aufgehoben.

Wir hatten ein kleine Hund dabei haben gefragt um ein Garten Zimmer bekamen ein Zimmer auf dem ersten Stock müsste ein steil Treppe nach oben.nach Frage beim eigner kein anderes Zimmer zu Verfügung obwohl wir fest stellen müssten das solch ein Zimmer mehrfach frei war .mein rücken enthält 23 cm Titanium zu Unterstützung des Wirbel Säule.,die Treppe war schlimm.

Unser Zimmer war ganz neu, groß und modern eingerichtet.

Hôtel confortable bien situé par rapport au village et à la réserve naturelle, il est presque impératif de louer un vélo (notez bien qu'on ne prend pas sa voiture sur l'ile), sillonnez toute l'ile, vous en garderez un souvenir inoubliable.

We zijn erg gastvrij ontvangen, de kamer en het ontbijt prima verzorgd.

I had booked a room with a balcony/terrace.We were given a room without either. The owner firstly blamed myself for changing the booking and then he blamed the booking agency. He was rude, arrogant and talked across me when I tried to speak. There was no proper reception as it also functioned as the bar in the dining room. When we arrived there was no welcome - just a woman who said "Name?" I never saw her smile once. The owner and other staff were all too busy serving the diners to give hotel guests any attention. The only pleasant and friendly member of staff was a young woman working as a cleaner who showed us to our room. The rest of the staff could learn some great interpersonal skills from her. At breakfast, no member of staff appeared until five minutes after opening by which time there were already 20 or so people sitting down. Again, there was no welcome or smiles given to any person that I saw. Altogether this was an unfortunate and unpleasant choice of hotel and the unfriendliness and the outright rudeness of the owner made me think of the sitcom 'Fawlty Towers'. However, it was not nearly so funny in real life. Clearly a mistake had been made in our booking, but the owner refused to accept any responsibility for this and refused to even offer an apology as he said it was not his fault. Blaming the customer and the booking agency was clearly not the right thing to do. If you want a pleasant stay on this lovely island, please do not go to this hotel.

Das Hotel Duinzicht ist auf der Insel das Hotel mit der längsten Tradition. Es liegt nur einen kurzen Fußweg von allem entfernt: Strand, Spar-Markt, Restaurants. Im Hotel selbst kann man zu angemessenen Preisen hervorragend essen. Fahrräder können gemietet werden, der Elektro-Bus hält vor der Tür und ist mit den Fährzeiten getaktet.
