"Excellent hotel, recommended."

We reserved a bungalow with a privte pool, exceptional. Book a superior room at least. Dining rooms system not clear, we couldn't eat close to our room, had to go to the main dining hall. The beach is in a walking distance, nice beach but in Rhodes there are better beaches.

"Goos hotel for families "

Very good food and spacious accommodation. The stuff wanted 22 euro for a late check out of 1 hour,Thanks to Costumer relation lady the issue was resolved.The pool is huge and it was a lot of space.The beach is nice,needed to drive there with a golf car and wait 20 min each time for a ride.There was a problem with a a locking indication of the door,although We complaint about it nothing was done.The shower was licking from the door sealer.

"Luxury hotel but very disappointed in room comfort"

I recently stayed at La Marquise for a friends wedding. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are accommodating, and the wedding was put managed excellently. However my time was somewhat spoiled by constant faults with my room. Upon arrival i was 'luckily' upgraded to a junior suite. I was thrilled at the size of the room and the facilities, however the next day I was informed from other members of the wedding party, that they had already stayed in that room and left due to lack of air conditioning. After my first night I complained and they had someone 'fix' it, even leaving a note informing the problem had been resolved. The 2nd evening of my stay I soon realized that it was not fixed and after calling and being told they couldn't do anything about it until the morning and there was no other rooms available, I had a very uncomfortable evening at 28 degrees all night. After arguing with the front desk the next day an alternative room suddenly become available. Unfortunately this room was also fairly warm at a constant 26.5 degrees even with the 'ac' on. I do understand that facilities break and can be temperamental, my issue was with the hotel knowingly putting me in a faulty room and then selling it to me as luck that I was upgraded.

"Choose another hotel! Better options close by."

Let me start by saying that this is a nice hotel but compared to all inclusives around the world, this one is severely lacking in several areas. All inclusive is a very loose term apparently. You can eat at 1 restaurant and your drinks are relegated to the bottom shelf menu and not the paying customer menu, and I am not talking about top shelf alcohol. Bacardi rum, not included and that is a $10 bottle of alcohol. If you have heard of it, it is not included. You also are not allowed to eat at their nicer restaurants, you are stuck with the Buffet. If you are going to have an all inclusive, make it so, not a partial inclusive and treat your inclusive customers as "we already got there money, now how little can we truly provide." They have a long way to go to be on par with the even middle of the road, similar resorts. The staff there need to take a starter course in customer service. Arguing in front of the customers, being disorganized and lacking in general customer service related skills was rampant. Our Tv's did not work and the AC was not working either..."it will have to wait until tomorrow" And when the AC stopped working again we slept with our door open for 3 nights because dealing with the sub par staff was not a winning alternative. The only plus I would say for this hotel is that the Buffet and the food there was very good. But that does not make up for the numerous shortcomings at this hotel.

"Take money and run"

I appreciate that most of Greece has a very simple model: we will be in demand regardless of how happy our customers are - if you are unhappy, we'll sell to somebody else. In a nutshell, in a decent country (US for example) this resort would be out of the business in no time. For a five star place, these are not okay: - You cannot control the temperature in the room. AC only allows cooling the room, but not heating it. - We asked for a portable heater. Had to wait for a full day for the hotel to procure it. It was one very cold night. - We could not get extra blankets for our room. - The soap wasn't replaced. 5 nights for a family of four on one small soap. Luckily we had our own. - All-inclusive lunch was only possible at the outdoor restaurant regardless of weather. One day it was 15C with strong wind and we could only eat in that outdoor place. - No mini-bar. One bottle of complimentary water was provided for a 5-day stay. - Indoor pool accessible to children only between 10AM and 2PM. That kind of hospitailty would not survive a fortnight somewhere else.

"Excellent rooms"

We stayed in the adults only area in a room with a pool view. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and the balcony to the pool is very pleasant ! The bathroom is very large and comfort. Breakfast is good and wealthy. The only bad thing I got to say it that they requested 3 EUR for ice when ordering from the room service.. we had to go to the main bar to get some...
