Inn at Hermannhof

Lovely quaint inn and perfect for a weekend get away.

We stayed in the Norton suite for 2 nights. The reason we gave it 3 stars relates to the price paid versus the extras we're used to at other bed and breakfasts. We've stayed at hundreds across the country. The keurig was low end so the coffee was terrible which means we couldn't enjoy coffee on the porch in the morning, plus only powdered creamer. The tub is nice but, no extras like bath salts. A couple of the shower jets didn't have much water flow. The light above the toilet was burned out and the fan was loud. The TV was small and not a clear screen. We got locked out and waited for 20 minutes for someone to come and change the battery in the lock. It was the afternoon in the sun and 90+ degrees. They did tell us they've had problems with the locks and are installing new keypad locks. BUT We liked the breakfast both mornings and our server, Eric, was great and very attentive. The coffee there was great!

The town is very scenic which added to the overall experience

Beautiful setting and unique cottages

What a lovely place! My husband and I stayed in Gustave Suite in the Weinert cottage. The rooms were neat and clean, and very spacious. We didn't hear anyone else, we may have had the cottage to ourselves:) We were so pleased with our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff members were extremely courteous, especially ERIC! The Inn and staff are wonderful ambassadors for Hermann. Definitely recommend the Inn & Hermann!!

I loved the cottage privacy of the property. I didn't like that it was a surprise. We had no idea that we wouldn't be in the main building in town or that the drive would be up such steep hills. It was a little scary!

Pleasant and spacious accommodations. Great breakfast. Not especially friendly to bicyclists. Would not give us an empty room in the main hotel building; had to stay in one of their buildings at the top of the hill. 102 steps up and down for dinner and for breakfast - a bit much for weary biker legs!

Excellent stay! You must stay here when you are in Hermann!
