Loved the home had been restored back to it’s original look

This beautiful, quiet bed and breakfast was the best stay my wife and I have ever had anywhere. Rich in history and lavishly furnished, it takes you back into a time when life was simple, romantic, and homey. The warm reception I received was unmatched to any I have experienced. Holly made us the best breakfast we have ever had together. The staff turned a one night pit-stop into an unexpectedly special experience. Thank you so much!

The building is beautiful. The water pressure is exceptionally low, was an effort to rinse my hair. The breakfast as delicious and the staff kind. The mattress is the Tower room dips in the center.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Staff was super - actually called and talked to me about my estimated arrival and checked in when I was running late - super friendly, very clean and comfy. Only regret was not being able to stay long enough to eat the breakfast - will definitely stay her again on the future road trips!!!

Since its a b&b don't expect staff to be there 24/7. Beautiful old home that has been restored. A lot of the furniture and fixtures seemed period specific for the home, there is a nice parlor and cozy kitchen and dining room down stairs. The home smells nice and was clean. The home feels like it was pulled right out of history books The hostess greeted us and was very nice. Trans friendly business. Our room was a bit small but very comfortable. We stayed in the tower room as it was the only one left so thats probably why it was smaller. They served breakfast and all we had to do was wait on the front porch. They served quiche and toasted sourdough bread with honey on it and orange juice and coffee. There were glass wine glasses and plastic cups in the room. Thats a nice touch as most hotels dont provide wine glasses in the rooms. They made sure to have the room cool for us ahead of time. Its a short drive to many restaurants and other things. St joe isnt that big of a city so most things are 5 minutes away and 15 at the most. Wife and i had a wonderful time and will go back for sure.

Overall our room was clean. It just looked like it had not been dusted in and around the windows, some cobwebs present. The bed was not comfortable. It was so soft that we did not sleep well and had achy bones and muscles in the morning.

Beautiful place, great host, amazing breakfast. The only downside is that it is in a very dilapidated city.

The property is LOVELY! The staff are delightful. And, breakfast was so delicious!

The hospitality and atmosphere were warm and relaxed, the room was beautiful with comfortable beds, and the food - a la the owner's brilliant local cafe, Belle Epoque - was excellent. Just a delightful stay, complete with great recommendations for things to do around St. Joseph.
