The location was great and the rooms were spacious.

This is an old hotel that has seen better days. It shows its age and has not had much maintenance in some time. No English channels on TV. The internet is unusable for large portions of the day, only in the very early morning is it accessible.

Notwithstanding the fact that the hotel was across the road from the main Lecce train station, once we were in the room, there was no outside noise reaching us. The room was very grandiose both in size and decor. The bathroom shower facility had like a "His & Hers" complimenting showerheads at opposite ends of the walk in shower, for that shared experience. The enclosed safe was simple to understand and easy to operate, and actually worked! [Unlike many other hotel overnight stays that didn't!] We had to leave before breakfast to catch an early departure, the hotel staff were understanding & provided us with a bag of snacks & drink

Couldn't seem to get the TV to work but, that didn't matter too much as, with the wi-fi connection, we were using our mobile phones.
