"Decent Hotel"

6.0

I stayed for 2 nights in the beginning of October. It is located in downtown Beirut. Very close to Beirut Souks which has been revamped in to a modern open/close market. Most Government departments are in close vicinity. In the evenings the area is kind of quiet. But Al Hamra and Raouche areas are close by. I liked the hotel and will recommend it. Rooms I found to be spacious and comfortable. Service of all staff was wonderful. Special mention to Ms. Joyce at the reception. She was wonderful.

"A reasonable hotel for business travelers"

6.0

I stayed there for 2 nights back in October. It is a boutique hotel within downtown Beirut. Once you get in the hotel, you are faced with an elevator and an extremely small front disk. There is usually one front disk employee at any time. The room is nothing to write home about. However, it is OK for your basic business traveler needs. Several shopping and dining attractions are within a walking distance. The breakfast buffet is very limited in variety. The staff is generally helpful and friendly.

"Great location great staff "

10.0

Jean Jacques at the entrance is very professional and helpful as are all the employees, the location is the best to be found in beirut, spacious and clean rooms. Fresh tasty breakfast. Despite the security perimeter u can drive ur car just in front of the entrance and a valet will park it.

"A great place to stay in downtown beirut"

10.0

I liked this place that is very convenient to downtown Beirut. the only issue with my stay is dealing with the army check point every time you need to enter or exist especially if you have luggage. the luggage must be opened and checked like you are going through the airport. The breakfast is basic and good at the 5th floor with great views of Beirut downtown. they serve basic Lebanese food for breakfast and scrambled eggs. the internet access is decent given Beirut infrastructure. the room is clean and has everything that you need. clean and comfortable. the staff are very friendly and accommodating. the hotel is very close to everything in downtown Beirut.

"A great place but hard to get in or out"

10.0

A great place to stay at and close to downtown Beirut. but difficult to get into and out of unless you are walking without luggage. it is close to the parliament and the army has all the roads leading to it close with manned check points.

"Good Location, but they need to fix many things!!"

6.0

I bunch of friends and I went to Beirut for a long weekend. Etoile Suites was the perfect base location because of it's location to restaurants, bars and other night life. For the price this place was very disappointing. First I booked a room with 2 beds for me and my buddy, we arrived at 12:30am to find out they had given me a room with just one bed and the only thing they offered was a roll away which was uncomfortable. We ended up having to share the bed, the next day after we got back we went back to battle the manager about switching rooms, after about 30 minutes he finally changed out room. The rest of the stay was OK, the internet was horrible in this hotel, most the time I went down the road to Starbucks which was a 30 second walk from the hotel seeing it was right next door. We were told we would get a discount because of the mix up, upon check out they tried telling us the discount was the room because they upgraded us to a better room with the two beds. Aftr yet another lengthy they gave us a 20% discount on our first night. Overall I wasn't that impressed by this place. This was my second tome to Beirut and I enjoyed the WH Hotel in Hamra then I did this hotel in Downtown. Other friends stayed at the Ramada down the road and that probably would have been a better choice as well. All in all keep looking if you're thinking about staying here.
