Good location, friendly helpful staff. Ensuite room with the shower was great as well as kitchen with the fridge and cooking facilities. Safe and secure.we spent two nights at this comfortable place. There is swiming pool but it was too cold to swim at the time. Staff was very helpful with booking excurcions and accommodation. Recommended for the budget conscious travellers.

Excellent and helpful staff with great kitchen and the weekly Braai was an extra bonus that we really enjoyed.
Das Hotel liegt in direkter Nachbarschaft zum WM Stadion und der Touristenmeile Waterfront also sehr zentral. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und eine kleine Bar im Vorhof bietet die Möglichkeit sich mit den anderen Gästen auszutauschen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und kann gute Tips geben.
Das Sunflower ist angenehm in der nähe der waterfront gelegen, so dass man mit dem günstigen taxi in wenigen minuten mitten in die stadt an die long street, oder andere relevante plätze gelangt. Ein unkomlizirter aber doch zuvorkommender umgang unter den gästen und dem personal sorgt für eine tolle atmospähre und bringt eine gute mischung zwischen lockerheit und qualität. Die zimmer sind zwar eher klein gehalten, bieten aber alles was man braucht und sind sauber. Für mich war das sunflower die perfekte mischung zwischen BackPackers atmosphäre und hostel Qualität und absolut empfelenswert.

Most accommodating. Gracious, personable and friendly staff. Had only three days to explore Cape Town - perfect location. WiFi iffy ... Firefox (3.0) could be updated to 11.0. GREAT!!
This hotel was very well located and within walking distance to the ocean front. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the different tours around town. The rooms were clean and allthough there was no breakfast provided, they are some restaurants within walking distance of the hostel.
