ibis Lisboa Sintra

Everything was great , staff was excellent, new bldg, for the money it was pretty good! One negative I had was they have no cooks at all n they microwave the food. Other than that I’d give it 2 1/2 stars

Taking into account that Ibis Hotels are not in the luxury segment, I must say that the rooms are generally well-maintained and clean. The bathroom, and especially the shower, is very comfortable and spacious. One of the most positive aspects is the mattress, which is extremely comfortable, and the fact that Ibis Hotels are pet-friendly is a great advantage. However, my only negative remark is not related to the hotel itself but rather to the reservation process. In this case, the booking was made through Expedia.com, which did not provide an option to request a receipt with the VAT number (factura com NIF)—something I require for company expenses. Additionally, there is no straightforward way to contact Expedia to resolve this issue. I managed to call an Expedia number, which cost me nearly 6 euros, only to be informed by the representative that I had reached the wrong department. They provided me with another paid number to call, but that number does not work. If I am unable to obtain the receipt with the VAT number as needed, I will stop making future reservations through Expedia.

The staff was very friendly and attentive, specifically the diner staff. Clean, comfortable and good value.

Really clean and nice place to stay

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We arrived super early to see if we could have luggage storage but surprised to be able to check in early so big bonus and thanks. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. Bus stop within 2 minutes of hotel (we had a car so didn’t use but considered taking into Sintra to avoid hunting for parking). They do offer breakfast (we didn’t use) and have a bar/restaurant available. The only negative was they didn’t have a small fridge or microwave in room but reception did heat some items for me that I bought from a local grocery. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free parking up top and if full can pay 3 euro to use underneath parking. Easy access to highway to see the sites we visited! Would stay here again.

Towels did not seem washed. Internet was patchy. Breakfast options were limited. Staff was NOT friendly at all.

The staff here are AMAZING. The hotel has a great vibe and the friendly staff made us feel like real guests. My only complaints are the air conditioning in the our room never worked and there was an odd smell coming from the sink in the bathroom. We did ask someone at the front desk to help with AC our first night, it did seem to help for that night but after it returned to not functioning. Thankfully our last two nights were a bit colder outside.
