Nara Hakushikaso

Great hotel with helpfull personal. Breakfast was very nice. Very close to center.

The bathroom very small, but we use free onsen

Japanese style ryiojan walking distance from station

Super small rooms and bathrooms meant fur college student dorms. Onsen was only opened until 11pm and not at all in the morning. Also super tiny. Smoking area close that baths and own bathrooms in the rooms smelled. They put us next to an elevator when other rooms were available really upset me. Also why does the fourth floor exist? Not good meant fur death in Japanese culture.

Very traditional public bathroom (onsen), delicious meals both breakfast and dinner served in the rooms. Quality of ingredients, variety of plates and large portions. Staff extremely kind and nice and tatami room was absolutely huge. The hotel structure is like a dive in a movie: wonderful memories.

A bit old fashioned if this might be an issue for you (not on my case)

Vintage feeling of the hotel, very friendly staff

This hotel has an excellent location, and the staff are wonderfully kind and welcoming. We had the pleasure of staying in a traditional Japanese-style room, which made for a truly memorable experience. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and inviting. The public bath was relaxing. The food was absolutely delightful. It’s absolutely worth staying here—we recommend it!

Bathroom drain could be a clogged

The Japanese breakfasts were fine but the western stayle were not that great. I have used the massage chair in lobby everyday, it was great. The dinners in our room were really good but as usaul it seems food in Japan is on the salty side and this also applied in this hotel.

The hotel is a little outdated and some of the wall paper, sliding door, the front of the cupboards needed to be freshen up a bit, you could see the marks on the cupboard doors. The layout of the toilet in our room leaves much be desired.

The breakfast was amazing and the location was great.

The property is an older property... but it was well maintained and the staff were really good.
