"I wish Seckford Hall was nearer to my home, just so I could be a regular visitor to the spa garden!"

9.0

Everything!! Stunning building with excellent food! Beautiful gardens and a very nice room. The Spa Garden was incredible…

There was nothing I didn’t like… the only thing that I could pick up on was the lack of plug sockets in the room. There was only one which was no where near a mirror so styling hair was tricky! However, I totally get that you can’t exactly re wire an ancient building just so I manage to create an even hairdo!!

"The staff, facilities and location are perfect for a special occasion"

10.0

We stayed in the Seckford Room (No.16) which has a huge private terrace attached. Breakfast and dinner were 5*. Location ideal for Woodbridge and surrounding area. The Spa facilities outstanding.

Couldn't find a thing to dislike about Seckford Hall or it's location

We chose your venue to celebrate a special birthday. We were made welcome from the start by all the staff especially Helen and Sophie on reception. Unfortunately Raymond Hooker was suffering and unable to make the flights of stairs involved to get to the lovely room Helen had picked for us with the balcony but quickly reshuffled us to a downstairs room which was perfect. The rest of our stay was very enjoyable from relaxing in the courtyard to our dinner in the evening. We didn’t get to experience the spa as no time but look forward to visiting on another occasion, Thank you Kind regards Pat and Ray

If there was one thing missing and we realise it’s not really possible in such an ancient building is a lift. However we loved the building and so glad we experienced staying in a building with so much past history Thank you

"Attention to detail and lack of staff meant this was a very expensive one night stay."

4.0

The property is in a quiet area surrounded by nature .

No staff to check in or out. For the later we had to ask someone surveying breakfast to find someone Our bedroom lacked basic maintenance which impacted on our stay. Bed had a very deep dip in the mattress to one side The plug on the sink was broken and some very poor attempt had been made to fix it The shower screen didn’t fit and was covered in lime scale so we had to be careful not to flood the below room. No hair conditioner as it hadn’t been refilled Breakfast was very poor carbonised vegetarian sausages and over cooked fried egg. Should never have been served!
