Agriturismo Galea

Wonderful location and ‘feel’ to the place. Basically like having your own villa in the middle of a lemon orchard with views of Mount Etna (see photo taken from the door of our room) but you have to share breakfast and the (very nice) pool with some other people. The staff are also very friendly and very helpful. Food is good and very good value

The only slight issue is that the restaurant is closed one night each week. Check with reception when you arrive so you know when to eat somewhere else

Great place close to Etna and Taormina. Good food and friendly staff.

The pool could do with some solar water heaters to make it a little warmer (End April)

Breakfast was nice, fried and scrambled eggs, fresh juices and a nice selection of fruits and breads. Very low key and mellow setting. Nice that give you an access key to get on and off the property. Rooms are spacious and property is very well maintained. Pool is as pictured and views of Mt. Etna are stunning

Nit picks: not much! Nearby town is a bit underwhelming so plan to spend time at the property or on road trips.

Breakfast was good and we could take our food outside to the terrace. Lovely pool with a nice bar. Amazing views from the pool and elsewhere on the property. Charming old buildings, very friendly staff. Good location for excursions to Etna, wine country, pistachio growers and Taormina.

There were not many paths to walk on the property. Also walking or biking to town (Riposto) was somewhat risky, because of narrow roads without sidewalks. So basically, you will be driving or getting a taxi.
