Hometown Inn

Have stayed here a few times traveling back anf forth to Alabama football games. It is always clean. The rooms are nice and spacious. The refrigerator was very cold. Only encountered front desk staff so far and they have always been nice, friendly and helpful. Love the decor......especially the veterans theme.

This was a second stay over the summer. It was a quick stay and the only thing we as a family would’ve like to see better of was the breakfast. The breakfast seems to be the bare minimum. Hope that gets better before us visiting again next year.

Breakfast need to be better, also staffing and cleaning

Very clean. Staff were great. The breakfast person was not that friendly, but she kept breakfast stocked. She just seemed a little over worked. The pool area was decent but there is no lifeguard so be careful with small kids. Our overall stay was great. I would definitely recommend.

Breakfast provided a variety of food; the day staff was pleasant; the night staff receptionist was away from the front desk constantly; you had to dial a number to summon her. The room was spacious. The bed was too firm; I didn't get a good night sleep. The bed didn't have a blanket. Small facial towels weren't in the room; I had to retrieve them from the front desk.

Breakfast was good.

On Saturday morning after taking we gave housekeeping our linens. The lady said she would bring fresh linen. After getting back from our reunion that night, no linen. Ask the front desk, no linen with an attitude. Next morning, ask for linen, had to wait until towels dry. I feel this was unacceptable. This was my third year staying here for reunions, my go to hotel.
