Villa Park Sun Island Resort

The room needed to be updated but was very clean and efficient. The island is terrific with more great beaches than most islands. The Manta Rays swimming around the Italian restaurant was fantastic. We were pleased with the food and drinks on the All-inclusive Plan. The resort lived up to all our expectations and more. The snorkelling here was not up to our previous Maldives resorts but the beaches were better. The staff was also terrific, every single one.

Isola molto grande con tantissime attività e ricchissima di vegetazione con ampi spazi verdi meravigliosi..laguna molto estesa. cose da migliorare consiglierei, vista la presenza molto numerosa di famiglie con bambini piccoli, di suddividere le camere in zone dedicate agli ospiti con bambini e altre per gli ospiti senza bambini in modo che chi è senza bambini possa godere diella desiderata tranquillità durante la vacanza. Stesso consiglio darei per i tavoli del ristorante principale assegnando tavoli fissi per tutta la vacanza creando una zona per famiglie con bambini e una per le coppie o faglie con figli gia grandi. Consiglierei inoltre un servizio continuativo di pulizia del bordo mare dai rifiuti portati dalle maree sulla spiaggia. Il cibo al ristorante principale è molto vario e sono ottimi i dolci ma consiglierei di migliorare e rendere piu varia la scelta di cucina europea. notevole invece l attenzione per i piatti vegetariani e senza uova che sono chiaramente indicati su ogni cartellino dei vari cibi.

Hotel has impressive gardens and grounds with lots of vegetation and flowers- so beautiful. Food was amazing, service was great too. Can’t wait to return.

Villa park - sun island was a lovely resort! The staff really made it perfect. Mannan the buggy driver was excellent. Showed us around the whole island, recommended things to see and do! Went above and beyond. My husband developed a headache and Mannan went out of his way to bring us paracetamol to our room, perfect service! Rakesh the chef in the southern star restaurant was lovely. Always happy to help and make something fresh, breakfast lunch and dinner - perfect food, conversation and service every time! All the staff we encountered were happy and friendly. Only thing I would mention - is the island has a lot to offer! If you don’t hear from your host - make sure you request the daily itinerary.

Villa Park Sun Island was a refreshing experience. My husband and I had a lovely honeymoon with various experiences offered. There were water activities, spa services, and activities such as badminton, paddle ball, table tennis, billiards, etc. We were full board so breakfast, lunch, and dinner were included at certain times. Employees were extremely friendly and accommodating. Some suggestions I would recommend are adding bells to the bikes they offer to rent. It becomes difficult to navigate on the path when people, carts, and other bikes are all sharing the road. I would also suggest illuminating the signs with the room numbers. At night, the island is peaceful and lite with dim lights, however, it becomes hard to find the rooms without a flashlight. Another suggestion would be telling your room number at the dining hall so no confusions happen. The day of checkout my husband and I did not know lunch wasn't included. Although the staff was very friendly to remove any charge, we should have been informed at check in that it would not be included. We were only told a checkout time and what time to be at the jetty to leave via boat. Also, the food became a little repetitive after the first few days. Overall, great trip! 4/5
