Berlin Grande Hotel

Property was very clean and in prime location to get to all the shops and restaurants in the area.

The one lady of the kitchen staff got a little rude by telling me I couldn’t move a chair from one table to another to make it a set of 4 which I needed for my family. The other tables that we could have used were being used by other people so we had to make do with moving one chair. The lady told us that we were blocking a handicap access way which there was more than one way for a handicap access way. Overall stay was nice just wish there was more cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They seemed to have ran out while we were eating.

A nice variety of breakfast food. Nice, clean, large room. Staff was very nice.

There was no curling iron in the room. The eggs were cold at breakfast. Didn't have WiFi or if there was we couldn't find the password. No balcony outside our room.

The grounds are beautiful! I’m so glad it’s pet friendly.

I wish we could have stayed on the first floor and not the second. It was very difficult getting my mother-in-law on and off the elevator in a wheelchair. My husband is 60% handicapped, my mother-in-law is handicapped & in a wheelchair & I’m handicapped 100%.(Because myself & husband, living on SSDI only, couldn’t afford to put my dog through a $2,000.00 training program, for her to become a “Certified Service Pet” I had to train her myself), for all of my ailments, including diabetes. So I was unable to get her the highest degree of paperwork, to become certified as a “Service Pet!”, I had to qualify her as an ESA pet, getting her an “ESA Certification” only! I’m handicapped (28 different medical issues), my mother in law is 81 years old, can’t walk, but a very minimal, 2-3 steps @ a time,(needs a wheelchair) to get around. She also has problems with her hands and can’t use them. She was recently diagnosed with a very rare form of Parkinson’s disease, (known as dystonia), mostly by neurological doctors only! I WOULD PREFER your Registration personnel hear about this review! Please consider putting us on the 1st first floor if we choose to stay @ this facility again in the future. For the “UNGODLY” costs of rooms anymore, anyone staying with pet(s) should be placed on the first floor; leaving the entire rest of the hotel floors(s) for ALL OTHERS! I’ve seen many of rooms, empty in yours & other(s) hotels. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to complete this survey. I believe that if a person can share their opinion (whether good or bad), then maybe it’s a possibility things can change (for the better), in the future! As the old Proverb goes…” It takes a Village to Raise a Child!”

Love the room . 418 where it was located on the 4th floor away from elevator. Hope to get that room again
