Cove Studios

The studios were really spacious, and had amenities you may need e.g tv, coffee machine etc Decent location to the main town area Overall the rooms are done to a decent standard

Personally, I wouldn’t stay here again was a solo traveller. The studios are really easily accessible to the public based on the fact there is no gate or entry system into the actual car park. The studio doors obviously do lock, however there was about a one inch gap in the door when locked, which was covered by a separate fly screen, but ultimately having what feels like much easier access when you’re travelling alone isn’t ideal. I really didnt like that the way to access the studios was down a side road, which would be fine in a car, but on foot it’s pretty questionable in the evening

Location is excellent, quiet area within walking distance to the beach and town/shops/restaurants. Beds comfy, fridge/kettle/iron in room. Shower powerful.

Stayed in room one, noise noted from a pump which appeared to be located next to/underneath the room.

Hostile owner who runs a corrupt business. Room was unsecured and had black mould throughout. After following the business up three times over 2 weeks because no one was getting back to me I submitted photos of the issues as request so that they could investigate, all to get an email back within a couple hours to say those issues don’t exist and that they won’t be providing a refund. The owner Casey was very defensive, abusive and yelled down the phone at me. When I told her I would be leaving by a negative review she said “I wish you would, good luck with that.” Make sure to read the reviews and save yourself the hassle of booking any of the Beach Houses of Byron properties.

Small & quiet, close to the beach & in walking distance to the centre of Byron.

Pool ‘walls’ not clean, water was OK. Basic Washing up facilities there but no tea towel, and nowhere to put the washing up as you go in the bathroom. No fan in bathroom, no clothes air dryer. No microwave.
